2025 / 2026 Young Artist Music Scholarship

The Sea Coast Symphony, with the generous sponsorship of I’padrini di Antonello, is proud to support the next generation of young musicians through our annual scholarship competition. This program is designed to encourage and recognize outstanding high school seniors in Orange County who have demonstrated exceptional talent, dedication and achievement in musical performance. This merit-based award honors students who have made meaningful contributions to their school or community through music, reflecting the Symphony's commitment to fostering artistic excellence and celebrating the next generation of performers.

Awards

All award recipients will have the opportunity to perform with the Sea Coast Symphony at the All American Concert on June 26, 2026. Finalists may also be invited to perform at I’padrini di Antonello events, including their annual fundraising gala.

$1,500 scholarship + potential featured solo opportunity during the 2026/2027 season

Eligibility Criteria

01

Graduating high school senior

Be a graduating high school senior residing in Orange County, CA

02

Accredited college or university

Plan to attend an accredited college or university in Fall 2026

03

Orchestral instrument

Play an orchestral instrument (vocalists are not eligible)

04

Online form

Submit all required materials by the deadline via the online form

Competition Process

01

Video Submission

Introduce yourself by responding to 3 interview questions (max 10 minutes) Perform a piece of standard repertoire for your instrument (max 10 minutes).

02

Live audition (15 minutes)

10 semi finalists will be selected to perform two contrasting movements or excerpts for your instrument of choice from a list of provided composers

03

Final Awards

Final 3 winners will be awarded their scholarship prizes at the Sea Coast Symphony’s All American Concert

The competition unfolds in three rounds, providing applicants the opportunity to grow, perform, and connect with the Sea Coast Symphony community.
